Sudiksha (Sudi) Sridhar

Postdoctoral Associate

Sudiksha Sridhar earned her B.Tech (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, followed by a Master’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2024, she completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, where her research focused on the neural network processing of sensory cues during learning and locomotion across different brain regions. Her work employed calcium imaging and advanced data analysis to explore how non-invasive sensory stimulation impacts behavior and striatal neuronal dynamics. Sudi's research in the Grill lab will focus on developing computational models to investigate the mechanisms of cortical neuron activation by epidural cortical stimulation and transcranial magnetic stimulation. Drawing from her experience as a fellow at the Penn Center of Innovation, she has cultivated an interest in technology transfer and science communication. Beyond her academic interests, Sudi enjoys yoga, dancing, painting, and cooking.
