Research Associate
I am originally from India and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. I graduated from Duke in 2014 with an MS in Biomedical Engineering. My graduate study focused primarily on understanding the electrophysiological behavior of nerve and striated muscle. I joined Dr. Grill’s lab in 2013 to complete my graduate thesis titled ‘Network effects of deep brain stimulation: a computational modeling study’. Post-graduation in 2014, I continued to work in the lab as a Research Associate. Since then, I have worked on multiple computational modeling projects to better understand the effects of various stimulation modalities such as deep brain stimulation, intracortical microstimulation, etc. Post-my tenure in the lab, I plan on moving to a career in the healthcare industry.
