Anabella Santos

Research Associate

Anabella (Bella) Santos recently completed a B.S. in Neuroscience and Biology at UNC Chapel Hill, where she conducted undergraduate research on kidney disease. As an Associate in Research in Dr. Warren Grill's lab, Bella's primary focus is to write a literature review on the gross anatomy of the abdominal portion of the vagus nerve. Alongside her research, she is certified as an EMT and has worked as a medical assistant at a pain management clinic, where she was first exposed to the therapeutic usefulness of spinal cord stimulators. Outside of work, she assists in the production of The Expect Greatness Podcast, which aims to inspire, motivate, and educate people. Bella enjoys nature, FaceTimes with her niece, and various creative pursuits.
