Nikki Pelot completed her Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering and Bachelor's of Science (Physics) at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she performed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research. She is now pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, focusing on computational modeling of peripheral nerve stimulation, including mechanisms of action of kilohertz frequency block. Outside of her academic interests, Nikki takes advanced ballet and modern dance classes, as well as vinyasa yoga classes and teacher training
