Deep Brain Stimulation
Isaac Cassar graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from UCLA. His undergraduate research focused on the design of novel stimulation parameters for retinal prosthetic devices. His current research focuses on deep brain stimulation as a treatment for Parkinson’s Disease. Outside of research, his interests include camping, hiking, volleyball, and a variety of board games. A fun fact about Isaac is that he was one of the first people to ever riverboard through the Grand Canyon.
