Deep Brain Stimulation

Emily Shannon is a current senior from Charlotte, NC, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She joined the Grill lab in January 2016, and worked on histology of rat brains following deep brain stimulation. Currently, she is investigating metrics from information theory to quantify the effective of DBS. At Duke, she is a tour guide for the engineering school, a member of Greek life, and the president of Duke eNable.
