Emily Ray

PhD Student (2026)

Emily is a 1st year Ph.D. student in the Grill lab. Before joining the lab, Emily completed her B.S. in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Her research at Duke aims to improve upon current deep brain stimulation paradigms for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Outside of graduate school, Emily enjoys running, cooking, and spoiling her two cats.
