Ph.D. Candidate (2022)

Bradley Barth received a B.S. from Cornell University, in 2015. He investigates sacral nerve stimulation as a treatment for gastrointestinal motility disorders. He develops computational models and uses ex vivo mouse preparations to probe the peripheral and enteric neural circuits regulating colonic motility. Bradley received an honorable mention from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2017, and the Dean's Award for Excellence in Mentoring in 2018. Beyond the laboratory, Bradley is involved with the Scientific Research and Education Network, connecting STEM researchers with educators to disseminate cutting edge science and improve science literacy in K-12 schools.
